 Lyric Opera OC’s first full production this season will be the regional premiere of Jake Heggie’s Two Remain at the Yost Theatre in Santa Ana. We are proud to have Mr. Heggie join us as we prepare the production, as well as give pre-show remarks on opening night. 

In line with Lyric Opera OC’s educational mission, we wanted to ensure student artists also had the opportunity to work with the composer one-on-one. Lyric Opera OC will be hosting Mr. Heggie in a masterclass of his work on Wednesday January 25, 2023 from 2:30 – 4pm. We are partnering with the Hall-Musco Conservatory at Chapman University for this event and the masterclass will be held in Salmon Recital Hall. Parking and a campus map will be provided, and we are looking for 6-8 singers to participate. The masterclass is FREE OF CHARGE to participate or attend, but singers must provide their own pianist and sing a work by the composer, Jake Heggie. This should be a wonderful opportunity for pianists, as well!
