Lyric Opera OC is casting Maya & the Magic Ring, the family opera by Lori Laitman and Dana Gioia, for performances in May 2026 in Irvine, CA.

This production will also serve as a commercial recording cast, making it a special opportunity for participating artists.

Performances: May 8 & 9, 2026
Rehearsals begin: April 27, 2026
All roles and cover roles open
Must have SoCal housing (housing and travel stipends not available)

We would not be here without him. Bob’s belief, dedication, and unshakeable faith in what Lyric Opera OC could be remains our foundation. We will carry him with us to every performance & remember how much one person’s love and dedication can change the lives of so many.
