Lyric Opera OC is proud to announce the Mary Anne King Vocal Scholarship, a competition for high school singers based in Southern California.

This interactive competition provides development opportunities to high school-age classical voice students that embody the work Mary Anne did in her life, bringing tenacity, warmth, and an undying love of music to Southern California in their continued efforts as they grow and develop in their craft. Now, more than ever, we want to encourage our young singers to continue in their studies and prepare for the return of live music in Southern California!

One (1) vote may be cast between Sunday 11/08/2020 at 12:00 PM PST and 11:59 PM on Saturday 11/14/2020. The contestant with the most votes will receive a Music Library Starter Pack (valued up to $250.00) in addition to any other prizes awarded from the judges, as part of Lyric Opera OC’s Education & Outreach program.
